Kesimpulan :

Semakin banyak fasilitas yang disediakan suatu pc, semakin bertambah pula kapasitas dari tiap-tiap hardware yang disediakan.

Fungsi Hardware

1. CPU :

Melakukan operasi aritmatika dan logika terhadap data yang diambil dari memori atau dari informasi yang dimasukkan melalui beberapa perangkat keras, seperti papan ketik, pemindai, tuas kontrol, maupun tetikus.

2. RAM :
Sebuah perangkat atau media yang mempunyai fungsi untuk menyimpan data sementara pada sebuah komputer.

3. Motherboard :
Tempat meletakkan atau memasang berbagai komponen (prosessor, vga card, sound card, memori dll dan media transfer data dari komputer yang bekerja di dalam komputer misalnya prosessor untuk memberi perintah kepada komponen seperti memori atau harddisk dengan menggunakan jalur pada motherboard yang disebut bus dock.
 
4. Hard Drive :
Media penyimpan data dalam computer yang bersifat permanen selama HDD tersebut tidak rusak, baik berupa data umum ataupun data system itu sendiri seperti windows, linux, macintos dll.


5. Network Card :
Sebagai jembatan dari komputer ke sebuah jaringan komputer.

6. Graphic :
Menampillkan gambar/animasi 3D dan melakukan sebagian/seluruh tugas video decoding saat menonton video. Semakin besar ukuran layar, semakin besar resolusi. Semakin besar resolusi, semakin banyak pixel yang harus digambar.

7. Peripheral :
Membantu komputer menyelesaikan tugas yang tidak dapat dilakukan oleh perangkat hardware lain yang sudah terpasang.

Resume Materi TI

1. Buka Ms. Word
2. Buat cover buku semenarik mungkin.
3. Pada halaman selanjutnya buat daftar isi. Untuk membuat daftar isi kita bisa mengklik menu view submenu ruler. Lalu klik batang ruler dan atur sesuai keinginan. Setelah itu pada tulisan misal Daftar Isi, klik tab. Klik tab sekali lagi lalu tulis angka sesuai halaman.
4. Ketik isi buku.
5. Setelah itu, untuk membuat equation, kita bisa mengklik menu insert, lalu equation dan pilih rumus yang dibutuhkan.
6. Untuk membuat table, kita klik insert submenu table.
7. Untuk membuat bullets and numbering, kita pilih paragraph, bullets and numbering.
8. Untuk memberi watermark, pilih watermark di bagian page background.
9. Untuk header footer, kita pilih format, header footer dan atur sesuai keinginan.
10. Untuk membuat footnote, pilih insert footnote pada bagian footnotes.
11. Untuk membuat tampilan seperti koran, pilih coloumns pada bagian page setup.
12. Lalu kita bisa pilih dropcap untuk membuat huruf awal pada pragraf menjadi besar.
13. Pada halaman terakhir, kita bisa menulis biografi penulis.
14. Dan untuk memasukkan gambar, kita bisa pilih menu insert submenu picture.

Sistem Komputer

Pengertian sistem secara umum adalah kumpulan elemen yang saling berhubungan membentuk satu kesatuan untuk melaksanakan suatu tujuan pokok sistem.

Jadi sistem komputer adalah kumpulan hardware, software dan brainware yang saling berhubungan menjadi satu kesatuan untuk tujuan pokok sistem.

Tujuan dari sistem komputer adalah untuk mengolah data dan menghasilkan informasi.

Hubungan Antar Elemen Sistem Komputer

1. Tanpa brainware+software : hanya berupa seperangkat alat tanpa ada yang mengoperasikan.
2. Tanpa brainware+hardware : tidak bisa dijalankan karna hanya berupa sekeping cd.
3. Tanpa software+hardware : hanya manusia sendiri.
4. Tanpa software : tidak dapat dioperasikan karna tidak ada sistem operasi.
5. Tanpa hardware : tidak ada media untuk mengoperasikan software.
6. Tanpa brainware : tidak ada yang mengoperasikan.

Penggolongan Komputer

A. Berdasarkan data yang diolah
Dibagi menjadi 3 :
1. Analog computer, bersifat kontinyu dan prosesnya lebih cepat. ex: alat deteksi jantung.
2. Digital computer, berupa angka dan hasil lebih tepat.
3. Hybrid computer, gabungan antara digital computer dan analog computer.

B. Berdasarkan penggunaan
Dibagi menjadi 2 :
1. Special purpose computer, hanya untuk satu tujuan. Umumnya pada komputer analog.
2. General purpose computer, umumnya pada komputer digital.

C. Berdasarkan ukuran
Dibagi menjadi 6 :
1. Micro computer
2. Mini computer
3. Small computer
4. Medium computer
5. Large computer
6. Super computer

Micro, mini dan small computer disebut juga personal computer (pc). Sedangkan medium, large dan super computer merupakan gabungan dari banyak komputer atau processor untuk tujuan tertentu. Dan yang dimaksud dengan large/super computer adalah server.
